RE: CHARACTER REFERENCE FOR DAVID BRADBURY

David volunteered with The Society for Abandoned Animals from 1993 - 2001. His main role was to work in a team with fellow volunteers on animal care. This involved cleaning, feeding, socialising and much more from chickens and lambs to dogs, cats and rabbits.
He was always able to work on his own initiative and put a lot of time into his work. David was able to deal with members of the public in a friendly and courteous manner on open days, home visits and general public who wish to adopt an animal. During David’s time with us he had proven himself to be hardworking and trustworthy, and had become a valued member of the team.

We wish him all the luck in his future plans and would certainly welcome him back as a volunteer at any time.

We have known David’s family for a couple of years and have used David to mind our two Pugs, African Snails, Turtles and Fish aswell as the upkeep of our garden feeders whilst house sitting when we go on holiday.

This week, Dave has taken our Beagle - Rosie for walks both morning and evening. We and Rosie have found him to be most acceptable and accommodating when we wanted to alter the picking up times. He  is conscious of his responsibilities and fully capable.

David walks my mum's dogs Taz and Kimmy daily. Mum is in poor health and unable to walk them herself. David is a Godsend. The dogs love him and look forward to their daily walks with him.  He is friendly and trustworthy and I can rely on him to keep an eye on my mum too.
